Power Past Coal
Currently, there is a proposal for a coal export terminal at Cherry Point in
Whatcom County. Trains carrying coal would travel through Seattle and
neighboring communities to the proposed terminal. For more information,
Here's a great video about the proposed coal export terminals in Washington
We Need Your Help
◊Do you have an old gently used surfboard, wetsuit, booties or gloves sitting around gathering dust?
Are they kids or young adult sizes?
The Surfrider Chapters in Washington would like to gather old, gently used, surf gear
to use for our kids camps. We have some avaible to use, but due to recent demand,
we have realized we don't have enough.
◊If you don't have used gear, would you like to sponsor a set-up?
We especially need soft, foam boards.
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, please contact Shannon Serrano at
sserrano@surfrider.org.
