Chapter Update

The Seattle Surfrider executive team is developing a strategic plan for 2012 and beyond. Part of that plan includes identifying key areas to focus on that impact our local water quality and marine habitat. Our key focus points for 2012 will be:

  • ◊ Power Past Coal - Stop the Coal Terminal planned for Cherry Point
  • ◊ Ocean Friendly Garden Installations
  • ◊ Blue Water Task Force
  • ◊ A campaign to ban plastic bags in Washington State.
  • ◊ We want to know what YOU are passionate about working on! Let us know!

Check out our Campaigns page to see what we are up to.

Want to know more? Would you like to get involved in one of our projects for 2012? We need volunteers!

Contact us or --better yet-- come to our next meeting!
